West Chester, PA – Jackie Baker went between the pipes six times as five different Rams tallied goals en route to a 14-10 victory over the visiting Lady Eagles of Lock Haven in the PSAC Championship Game. With the victory the Rams snagged their fourth straight PSAC Title.

Lock Haven got the board first as Jessica Blickenstaff scored her first of three goals on the day twenty-seconds into the game. The Rams answered with six straight goals by Baker with three, Chrissy Kane, Mandy Masoner, and Nicole Haines. The Eagles answered with two goals by Jenna Richter before Kane and Stephanie Kienle scored back-to-back goals to close out the first half. West Chester took the 8-3 lead into the half.

Lock Haven came out firing in the second half as Leigh Titus netted her first of three second-half goals. Baker answered twenty-seconds later with a goal of her own to keep the Rams up by five. LHU picked-up their fifth goal of the game at 24:31, before West Chester retaliated by scoring four straight goals to push their lead to 13-5. Sparking the four-goal scoring frenzy was Baker who added two more goals on the day as Masoner and Kane added one apiece.

Over the last thirteen minutes of play, Lock Haven outscored the Rams 5-1 with West Chester's lone goal coming from Nicole Haines at 11:59. West Chester survived the late scare from Lock Haven to win the game 14-10.

For the Rams, Kienle added five assists while Kane and Masoner each tallied one. Kienle was also named the 2007 PSAC Lacrosse Tournament MVP with nine goals and ten assists over the two-game tournament.

Scoring goals for the Lady Eagles were Jenna Richter (3), Blickenstaff (3), Titus (3), and Mandy Alderfer (1). Lindsey Renel, Richter, Blickenstaff, Amber Hoch, and Caitlyn Watts put tally marks in the assist column for Lock Haven.

The Rams improve to 18-1 overall while Lock Haven falls to 16-3. West Chester will return to action as they travel to Salem, Va. for the NCAA National Championships next weekend.
