Red Devis Run to ECAC Semifinals With 21-10 Win

(Carlisle, PA)- The Dickinson College women's lacrosse team posted a 21-10 victory over visiting FDU-Florham in the opening round of the ECAC South Region Tournament.

Sophomore *Amy Jennings (Baltimore, MD/McDonogh)* led the attack with six goals and one assist. She tallied the first two goals of the game and the last three Devil scores of the half to put Dickinson on top 9-3 at the break.

The Devils used an 11-1 that carried over into the second half to put them in front 13-3 with 22:35 remaining in the contest.

FDU scored three unanswered goals before the Devils used a 7-1 run to take control, 20-7, with 11:01 on the clock. The visitors closed out the game with a 3-1 run for the final of 21-10.

First-year *Abby Larson (easton, MD/Gunston Day)* came off the bench to score four goals while *Lizzie Skolnik (Great Falls, VA/The Madeira School)* added three on the afternoon.

Sophomore *Dana Bunting (Bishopsville, MA/Worcester Prep)* dished out three assists and controlled five draws. Senior *Laura Williams (Chestertown, MD/Gunston Day)* scored a pair of goals and handed out two assists.

Senior *Gabby Joffie (Jamaica, NY/Mercersburg)* made 12 saves in goal for Dickinson. *Caitlin Kingsley (Ridgefield, CT/Ridgefield)* made three saves in eight minutes of action.

Amanda Wayne led FDU (10-9) with five goals and one assist. Christine Dunn stopped 14 shots in 52 minutes.

The #3-seeded Red Devils (11-8) advance to meet #2-seed McDaniel College in Westminster on Saturday. #5-seed Stevens Tech will face #1-seed Cabrini at 3:00 pm. STU topped #4-Gwynedd Mercy College 16-12 in the other quarterfinal.
