Millersville Cancels Fall Season, Suspends Three Players
MILLERSVILLE, Pa. -- Three players on the Millersville women's lacrosse team have been suspended for two weeks and the team is required to perform community service as a result of violating the university's policies against hazing. Photographs of a team party early in 2007 that involved drinking were posted on an anti-hazing web site late this summer.
The team will be able to play this spring but won't be permitted to take a spring break trip. For more details about the incident and the university's response, see the article at LancasterOnline.com.
