The University of Maine at Farmington has announced that the school will add men's lacrosse as an NCAA Division III sport starting in spring in 2010. The athletics department has also announced that women's lacrosse will be added a Division III sport beginning in the spring of 2009. The women's lacrosse program is slated to play as a club team in 2008.
