Loudonville, N.Y. - The Siena women's lacrosse team dropped their season opener to reigning Division II National Champion C.W. Post this afternoon 16-8 at Siena Turf Field. The Pioneers would take a 6-4 lead entering intermission.
In the second half, the Saints against chipped away at the Pioneers lead and closed the gap to 7-6 on Rosecrans' second goal in a span of 33 seconds with 25:09 remaining. C.W. The Saints would get no closer as the Pioneers scored five unanswered goals from there on out to double up the Green and Gold 16-8.
