Greensboro, NC -- Jose Rodriguez had a game-high 4 goals, but Greensboro College (0-1) lost its season opener, 10-6, to visiting Goucher College (1-0) at Pride Field on Saturday.

The home club posted the match's first two tallies. Andrew Reidenbacker scored off a pass from Brandon Savage with 5:58 remaining in the first period. Rodriquez found the net with 13:46 left in the second quarter.

Goucher scored and then Rodriguez netted a goal off a pass from Savage to make the score 3-1 with 12:13 before the half.
