No. 4 Lynchburg Breezes by Neumann
LYNCHBURG, VA – The #4 ranked Lynchburg College men's lacrosse team defeated visiting Neumann College 25-1 Wednesday afternoon.
Aaron Khouri (Memphis, TN/Memphis University School) led the Hornets with four goals while Pat Manders (Potomac, MD/Gonzaga), Tyler Tolson (Lutherville, MD/Loyola Blakefield), and Anthony Tompkins (Manhasset, NY/Manhasset) each added three goals apiece.
Eddie Bilinkas (Randolph, NJ/Randolph) contributed with two goals and one assist while Robert Flintoff (Suffolk, VA/Nansemond-Suffolk) found the back of the net once and assisted on three other scores.
Kevin Kelly scored the lone goal for the Knights (0-3) and goalie Jake Boulay tallied 18 saves. LC outshot Neumann 69-17 and won the groundball battle 54-31, however, the Knights won 17 of 29 faceoffs.
The Hornets (2-1) travel to Haverford, PA, to face #18 ranked Haverford University on Saturday at 1:00 pm.
