OWINGS MILLS, Md. – Villa Julie sophomore attack Richard Ford had a game-high six goals as the 20th-ranked Mustangs (3-1) downed Ursinus (2-1) 17-6 on a rainy Saturday afternoon in a non-conference men's lacrosse action.

The Mustangs owned a 52-25 advantage on shots, and broke open a 6-1 game in the third quarter by outscoring the Bears 6-2.

For Ursinus, senior midfielder Dane Mangin (Willow Grove, PA/Archbishop Wood) had two goals, while sophomore long-stick midfielder Derrin Mangin (Willow Grove, PA/Archbishop Wood), sophomore attack Eric Farris (Pottsgrove, PA/Pottsgrove), sophomore attack Pat Nagle (Stony Brook, NY/Ward Melville) and junior attack Brian Boorse (Center Valley, PA/Southern Lehigh) each had a goal.

Junior attack Jason Orlando (Morton, PA/Springfield) had an assist.

Junior goalkeeper Tony Aquilino (Abington, PA/Archbishop Wood), Derrin Mangin and senior defenseman Eric Hoffman (Sellersville, PA/Pennridge) each had four groundballs in the contest.

Aquilino made 15 saves in goal for the Bears, who will take on Denison at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
