New London, Conn.--Mark Mangano (Basking Ridge, N.J.) tallied a hat-trick in his collegiate debut but it was not enough as Bowdoin College (1-0, 1-0) defeated Connecticut College (0-1, 0-1) 8-6 on the Artificial Turf at Silfen Field Sunday afternoon. Russell Halliday (Sudbury, Mass.) and Ben Chadwick (Needham, Mass.) netted two goals apiece for the Polar Bears.
