No. 1 Franklin & Marshall Rallies to Edge No. 6 Hamilton
WEST PALM BEACH, Fl. – No. 1 Franklin & Marshall scored four goals in the final 4:18 of the game to erase a 13-10 deficit with Ashley Bevington (Schwenksville, PA/The Hill School) scoring the game-winning goal with three seconds left to defeat No. 6 Hamilton 14-13 in non-conference women's lacrosse action on Wednesday.
Bevington scored her first game winner of the season with time expiring to help the Diplomats (5-0) remain undefeated on the season. Sarah Meisenberg (Severna Park, MD/Severn School) followed her four-goal performance with a season-high five goals and one assist in the win.
Shannon Summers (North Wales, PA/The Hill School) registered two goals and four assists, while Jen Pritchard (Media, PA/Penncrest) netted her third hat trick of the season and second in a row.
