SWEET BRIAR -- On the heels of its win at Ferrum on Tuesday, Sweet Briar lacrosse welcomed ODAC-foe Roanoke College to campus on Wednesday evening. The Maroons captured the win, taking the contest 20-5.

Junior Megan Behrle (Manassas, Va./Stonewall Jackson) netted four in the game for the Vixens, including the first goal of the game in the second minute. Notching assists in the game were senior Ellie Donahue (Richmond, Va./Trinity Episcopal) and first-year Stewart Hulfish (Alexandria, Va./Bishop Ireton).

Roanoke, 4-6 overall with the win, was led by Amanda Hutchins with five goals. Gina Valles was a close second with four tallies.

Sweet Briar is slated to travel to North Carolina on Saturday to take on non-conference Methodist University at 2:00 p.m.
