(Carlisle, PA) - The Dickinson College men's lacrosse team rallied from a five goal deficit to tie #6-ranked Haverford with just 3:10 remaining in Saturday's Centennial Conference match-up. The 'Fords survived 12-11, however, as Mike Distler tallied the game-winner with 47 seconds left in regulation.

Sophomore attackman Ted Sirvaitis (Greenwich, CT/Greenwich) scored the Devils' final three goals, including a pair in a span of 1:49 to tie the game at 11-11 with 3:10 on the clock.

Junior Kevin Byrne (Lower Gwynedd, PA/Germantown Academy) saved a ball on the endline and flipped it to senior defenseman Matt Kogelschatz (Baltimore, MD/St. Paul's), who fed Bennett Albertson (Branchville, NJ/Portsmouth Abbey School) to trigger the Devils final fastbreak. Albertson found Sirvaitis on the right side for the game-tying goal.

Derek Still (Oreland, PA/Penn Charter) tallied three goals and collected four ground balls. Mike Outwin (Yarmouth, ME/Yarmouth) netted a pair of goals. Kogelschatz controlled a game-high seven ground balls and forced four turnovers. Al Golod (Lloyd Harbor, NY/Cold Spring Harbor) caused two turnovers and picked-up four GBs.

Tyler Magann (Easton, PA/The Hill School) and Russell Matthews (Chestertown, MD/Kent County) combined for 13 saves. Brain Fleishhacker led Haverford (7-2, 2-2) with four goals. Jake Mendlinger made 10 saves.

The Red Devils slip to 6-4 overall and 1-3 in the Centennial Conference. They travel to Muhlenberg for a 7:00 pm face-off on Wednesday night.
