WATERVILLE, Maine --- The 17th-ranked Colby College women's lacrosse team scored eight goals in the opening 9:13 of play on the way to a 22-2 non-conference victory over Plymouth State on Tuesday at Bill Alfond Field.

All-American Kate Sheridan (Hingham, Mass.) had four goals and four assists to put her season totals at 34 goals and 22 assists for 56 points in just 10 games. Sheridan, a junior midfielder, went over 50 career assists and now has 123 goals and 51 assists for 174 points in 45 contests.

Becky Julian (South Windsor, Conn.) added three goals and has 20 on the season in eight games. Amy Campbell (North Andover, Mass.) and Caroline Atwater (Catonsville, Md.) each had two goals and one assist, while Heather Nickerson (Falmouth, Mass.) also had a pair of goals.

Casey Thomas (Needham, Mass.) had her first collegiate goal for the Mules. Colby also received goals from Anne Geraghty (Westford, Mass.), Lauren Strazzula (Norwell, Mass.), Carrie Lovejoy (Old Greenwich, Conn.), Kathleen Kramer (Norwell, Mass.), Caitlin Briody (Hopewell, N.J.), Kate Gragnolati (Chevy Chase, Md.), Megan Towe (Potomac, Md.), and Kaggie Orrick (San Francisco, Calif.). Ali Iannotti (North Haven, Conn.) picked up her first collegiate assist.

Plymouth State (1-4) received goals from Kerry D'Ambroise (Lowell, Mass.) and Kalie Judd (Peabody, Mass.). The Panthers tied the game at 1-1 with 28:40 left in the first half, but Colby scored 10 goals over the next 11:39 to pull away for good.
