just for the lovin
when i started playin the game
i played it for the lovin
it was new to me then
i couldnt live with out it
time of course did pass
and i became reel good at it
so i enjoyed all the cheerin
and the coaches when they came callin
but sum where along the way
i started playin for sum others
trien to do what they do want
and loosen what i be lovin
now i aint sure why it happened
or when the change did come
how i stopped hearin all the cheerin
and started playin the game i love
i all ways be very gratefull
for any ones kind words
but now it aint the words that make me play
