The speed of shots in lacrosse can reach 100 miles per hour, though that is rare.  And shots are often taken relatively close to the net.  How long will it take a shot from a given distance to reach the net if propelled at a given speed?  Use the calculator to answer that question.

You shouldn't need (but can use) the 'Calculate Time' button, as changing the form fields will recompute the time automatically.  For sake of comparison, try numbers for Major League Baseball, where the distance from the pitcher's mound to home plate is 60'6" [60.5 feet] and the speed of fastballs is often 90 to 95 mph.
