Drew University Tabs Charles Murphy as Assistant Coach

Charles Murphy, a former standout defender at Denison, has been named the lead assistant mens lacrosse coach at Drew University. Murphy joins head coach Tom Leanos and the Rangers for the inaugural season of the Landmark Conference in 2008. Murphy, a graduate of the nearby Delbarton School in Morristown, was a four-time varsity letter-winner at Denison University and was twice named to the All-North Coast Atlantic Conference squad. A defender, he was selected as a team captain in 2005 while Denison won the NCAC and reached the NCAA Tournament during his career. [full story]
