#9 Hampden-Sydney Falls to #12 Lynchburg in ODACs

HAMPDEN-SYDNEY, VA (May 1, 2007)— Hampden-Sydney's lacrosse team fell to Lynchburg College, 11-8, on Tuesday in the semifinals of the 2007 Old Dominion Athletic Conference Lacrosse Tournament at Hellmuth-Pritzlaff Field. The Hornets held a 6-5 advantage at halftime and went on for the victory, 11-8 . Senior Thomas Jennings (Murfreesboro, TN/Webb School) scored three goals and recorded one assist to lead the Tigers. With the loss, Hampden-Sydney drops to 12-3 overall, while Lynchburg improves to 13-3 on the season and will face the winner of the Roanoke/Washington and Lee game in the Championship of the ODAC Tournament.
