Southern Maine Sinks Maine Maritime, 14-5
PORTLAND, Maine -- Sophomore attack Tyler Mayberry (North Yarmouth, Maine/Greely) scored a single-game record nine points as the University of Southern Maine Huskies defeated the Maine Maritime Academy Mariners 14-5 in a non-conference men's lacrosse game Tuesday afternoon at Fitzpatrick Stadium in Portland, Maine. The win snapped the Huskies' two-game losing skid and improved their overall record to 2-4. The Mariners dropped their fourth straight game to fall to 2-5. [full story]
