USMMA Upsets #15 Stevens for Skyline Title, NCAA Bid

HOBOKEN, N.J. (April 28, 2007) – Second-seeded United States Merchant Marine Academy captured its first-ever bid to the NCAA Division III Men's Lacrosse Championship with a 12-11 victory over top-seeded and 15th-ranked Stevens Institute of Technology in the finals of the Skyline Conference Tournament on Saturday evening at the De Baun Athletic Complex in Hoboken, N.J. The loss snapped a 58-game winning streak against conference opponents for the Ducks that dated all the way back to 2000.   [full story]
