#3 NYIT Escapes with Double-Overtime Win at Molloy

Rockville Centre, N.Y. - Freshman Austin Carino (Huntington, N.Y.) netted the game winning goal off of feed from sophomore Kevin Hennessy (West Babylon, N.Y.) with 1:28 remaining in the second overtime to lift No. 3 NYIT over Molloy College 12-11 this afternoon in East Coast Conference men's lacrosse action. The Bears close out the regular season with a 10-1 record, 5-1 in ECC play. NYIT's only loss of the season came last weekend at No. 1 Mercyhurst 12-9. The Lions finish the season 8-5 overall and 2-4 in the league. [full story]
