General Information The Division II Men's Lacrosse Championship consists of a four-team, single-elimination tournament. One team from each of the geographic regions (North, Central, South) and one at-large team from any region will be selected. Team's must have a .500 or better record to be selected. See conferences for members and current standings. The distribution of institutions by geographic region is as follows:
Primary Factors for Selecting Teams The Division II Men's Lacrosse Committee considers (in no specified order) the following factors in making selections for the tournament, with an emphasis on in-region results:
Secondary Factors for Selecting Teams When teams under considerataion are tied on all criteria above, the committee will consider the following secondary criteria in the selection process (again not in priority order):
