Malinowski's Nine Points Propel #8 Trinity to Victory

NEW LONDON, Conn.--Senior Lauren Malinowski (Longmeadow, Mass.) exploded with five goals and four assists Saturday, leading eighth ranked Trinity College (11-3, 6-3) to a 19-14 victory at Connecticut College (4-10, 1-8). CJ Yanofsky dished out five assists to go with a goal for the Bantams, who locked up the #2 seed in the 2007 NESCAC Championship with the victory. Sarah Remes (Silver Spring, Md.) added four scores as the Bantams secured their fourth consecutive victory. Trinity will host seventh seeded Williams Sunday at noon in Hartford. [full story]
