Pfeiffer Edges Limestone for CVAC Championship

GAFFNEY, S.C. -- Pfeiffer University claimed the 2007 Carolinas-Virginia Athletics Conference women's lacrosse tournament title with a 15-14 win over Limestone College on Sunday afternoon at Saints Field. Limestone had a 7-3 lead at the half, but Pfeiffer outscored the Lady Saints 12-7 in the second period for the victory. Pfeiffer improves to 15-4 with the win as Limestone falls to 14-4.
