Oberlin Mourns Loss of Team Founder Hugh Robertson
November 14 – The Oberlin College athletics department would like to extend its deepest sympathies to the family and friends of former lacrosse great Hugh Robertson, who passed away earlier this month at the age of 87. Robertson is credited for starting the men's lacrosse program at Oberlin, organizing the first game west of the Appalachian Mountains on April 12, 1941. [full story]
