Belmont Abbey Upsets Queens in Conference Semifinal

Junior attackman Michael Brown led third-seeded Belmont Abbey with four goals and three assists as the Crusaders men's lacrosse team extended their winning streak to eight with a 14-10 win over second-seeded Queens in the Conference Carolinas Tournament Semifinal game this afternoon in Gaffney, South Carolina on the campus of Limestone College. The Abbey is now 8-4 on the year, as it avenges its season opening loss to the Royals, who fall to 3-11 in the loss. [full story]
