Pennington Named ECAC Preseason Offensive Player of the Year

CAPE COD, Mass. (August 18, 2008) – Junior midfielder Justin Pennington (Flemington, N.J.), who led the Rutgers men's lacrosse team in both points and assists last season, was selected as the 2009 ECAC Preseason Offensive Player of the Year in a vote by the league's coaches Thursday. Additionally, the Scarlet Knights had three players named to the Preseason All-ECAC Team, tied for the most of any other school in the league. [full story]
