#7 Middlebury Ends #5 Gettysburg's Postseason Bid

CLINTON, N.Y. � For the first time in three seasons, the Gettysburg College women's lacrosse team will not be taking the field on the final weekend of the NCAA Division III Tournament as seventh-ranked Middlebury College downed the fifth-ranked Bullets 14-5 in the regional semifinals hosted by Hamilton College on Saturday. The Panthers, who avenged a regular season overtime loss to the Orange & Blue, advance to play host Hamilton in the regional finale on Sunday (May 11), while Gettysburg sees its season come to a close with a 17-4 overall record.
