Seawolves Gain First-Ever Win over Hofstra

Stony Brook, N.Y. (April 22, 2008) � With the score tied at 9, senior Diana Caroleo (North Babylon, N.Y.) scored back-to-back goals to give the Seawolves an 11-9 lead they would not relinquish as the Stony Brook women's lacrosse team topped Hofstra, 14-10 at LaValle Stadium on Tuesday afternoon on Senior Day. It was Stony Brook's first ever win over Hofstra in four tries as it concludes the 2008 season 9-6. Hofstra falls to 7-9. [full story]
