Spiders Secure Top Seed in A-10 with Win over St. Joe's

UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. � The Richmond women's lacrosse team concluded its 2008 regular season schedule with a win over Saint Joseph's, 13-9. Junior Mandy Friend scored a game-high six goals and added three assists for a total of nine points, just one short of tying the Richmond single-game record. With the win, the Spiders have secured the top-seed at the 2008 Atlantic 10 Championships next weekend at Massachusetts. [full story]
