#1 Salisbury Flies by #14 St. Mary's in Second Round
SALISBURY, Md.- Two weeks ago, No. 1 Salisbury University and St. Mary's (Md.) College met for the Capital Athletic Conference women's lacrosse championship. The top-ranked Sea Gulls came away with their sixth straight title and the right to serve as a 2008 NCAA Division III regional host. The two teams crossed paths again on Saturday at Sea Gull Stadium in the regional semifinals. The result ended in SU's favor for a third time this season as the maroon and gold took down No. 14 St. Mary's, 22-9, to advance to Sunday's regional final. [full story]
