#10 Trinity Falls to #12 Babson in NCAA Tournament

Hartford, Conn. � Junior Jackie Godfrey (Franklin, Mass.) totaled seven points on three goals and four assists to lead the visiting Babson College Beavers to a 19-10 win over the Trinity College Bantams in the opening round of the 2008 NCAA Division III Women's Lacrosse Championship Tournament this afternoon on Sheppard Field. Trinity, ranked No. 10 in the nation, closes the season with an 11-7 record, while the No. 12-ranked Beavers post a best-ever win total of 16. [full story]
