#11 Amherst Upsets #6 W&L in NCAA Round of 16

LANCASTER, PA � The 11th-ranked Amherst College women's lacrosse team took on 6th-ranked Generals of Washington & Lee University this afternoon on the campus of Franklin & Marshall in the Second Round of the 2008 NCAA Tournament. Amherst scored the first goal of the game, and lead nearly the entire game, en route to a 10-8 win. The Lord Jeffs will face Franklin & Marshall tomorrow at 1:00 p.m. in the National Quarterfinals.
