The Regional Offset Margin defines the relation between one group and another based on the
hypothetical goal/pt difference if the best team in one group played the best team in another group.
This offset is then subtracted from the local power rating of each team in that group to generate the national
rating of that team. As an example, the list below contains high school boy's lacrosse groups along with
the offset margins and the best team for each group.
Hypothetically, if Huntington of NY Sect 11 played Dulaney (MD 1/2/3/4) on a neutral field, Huntington
would defeat Dulaney by (3.0 - 0.24) or approximately 2.76 goals.
