Trends A team's performance at the end of the season is reflected in how many losses they experience in their last games. The trends factor represents the number of losses in the last five games played. So if a team wins three (3) and loses (2) in its final five (5) games, the trend factor is (two) 2. If a team wins all five (5) games, its trend factor is (zero) 0. This factor is added to the total TSI score so the higher the number, the higher the tournament selection index (TSI) and the lower the probability of being selected to the tournament.
