#10 Wesleyan Downs ECSU to Advance in NCAA Tourney

MIDDLETOWN, Connecticut (Sat., May 9, 2009) -- Meeting for the first time since the conclusion of a six-year regular-season series between 1997 and 2002, Wesleyan (15-3) and Eastern Connecticutcticut (15-4) were paired for an NCAA Division III tournament second-round game here this afternoon. Eastern Connecticut earned its shot at Wesleyan by taking a 10-9 overtime win at the Merchant Marine Academy in a first-round game May 6. [full story]
