DANBURY, Conn. -- Senior Jess Knight (Alfred, Maine/Massabesic) and rookie Shelby Turcotte (Lewiston, Maine) combined to score 14 goals as the fifth-seeded Southern Maine Huskies defeated the fourth-seeded Western Connecticut State Colonials, 17-16, in a first round game of the Little East Conference tournament Tuesday afternoon at the Westside Athletic Complex.
