STONY BROOK, N.Y. – Named the America East tournament's Most Outstanding Player, sophomore attack Lyle Thompson with nine points paced 12th-ranked Albany past UMBC in the championship game, 19-10, on Saturday, May 4 at LaValle Stadium.
