Villanova Wins Big East Season Title; Defeats Providence

VILLANOVA, Pa. – Villanova used 14 point scorers in an outstanding team effort to pace themselves to a 19-11 victory over the Providence Friars (8-8, 1-5) on Saturday afternoon at Villanova Stadium. With the win, the Wildcats (6-7, 5-1) secured at least a share of the Big East regular season title by finishing with a 5-1 record. [full story]
