The Coaches-Computer Rating (CCR) is applied to boys' and girls' high school lacrosse. It is an end-of-season ranking that combines the results of a national coaches' poll with the final computer ranking. Each component is weighted 50%, and the CCR is simply the sum of the two separate rankings.

As an example, if a team is ranked 13th in the coaches' poll and 3rd in the computer rankings, then the total rating is 30. The lower the sum, the higher the ranking. Here are the boys' national championship results for the top 25 for 2009:

The poll votes are now normalized such that the poll votes =
pivot + (votes/(maximum votes))*(99.9-pivot)
where pivot = 89.0. This normalization is necessary to make the
poll and computer rating have equal weight.
